By car from the south

 By Car (from the south)
A12 from London. IGNORE the first 2 turnings signed Colchester. Take slip road signed Colchester North, Clacton, Harwich (A120). Then immediately take the slip road signed Colchester (A1232). At the large roundabout take 3rd exit (Colchester A1232). Go through the traffic lights and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit into St John's Road (signposted St John's). Take the 2nd turning on the left into St John's Close. Go straight up to end of the road and you will see the church on your right. Follow the road just to the right of the church and it leads to a car park at the back.

By car from the north

A12 Ipswich to Colchester road. Take the slip road off the A12 marked Colchester, Harwich, Clacton. At the large roundabout take the 2nd exit signed Colchester (A1232). Go through the traffic lights and at the next roundabout take the 1st exit into St John's Road (signposted St John's). Take the 2nd turning on the left into St John's Close. Go straight up to end of the road and you will see the church on your right. Follow the road just to the right of the church and it leads to a car park at the back.

By train

 By Train 
From Liverpool Street, London to Colchester North Station, the journey time is about one hour. From Ipswich to Colchester North Station, the journey is about half an hour. Take Bus 2A from the station forecourt (runs half hourly). Ask for the Rovers Tye. From the Rovers Tye, walk back to the roundabout on the main road and turn left. Follow the road about  100 yards and you will see the church on your right.
